I can hear what you’re thinking, yes I spoke too soon and as Annie Lennox famously sang , here comes the rain again ! It has rained constantly all day and I’m soaked through. ( and it’s also been cold ! ) Today is also Earth Day 2024 click here for more details.

So you might have noticed a few hopefully subtle changes to the blog’s appearance. A few new headers and logos. I just felt the appearance needed a small update. We also have the beginning of a gear section. Here you will find ( eventually) all the old reviews of camera equipment together with a few new items. As ever I welcome feedback so please let me know you thoughts.

All the usual suspects made an appearance today , and once again the Grey Squirrels caused total mayhem. Cute and entertaining as they are, their behaviour is causing issues around the feeders, chasing away some of the smaller birds. The Greater Spotted Woodpecker seems a lot more comfortable now and spent a few hours on the feeding post today , always a treat.

The Robin’s have continued their courtship activities, with worms and larvae being offered by the female , trying to win favour with the male bird. And it looks like the Blue tit family are doing well, with both parents going back and forth delivering food to their young.
