WILDLIFE WEDNESDAY

Wildlife Wednesday , 23rd February 2022

Another day at the meadow hide this time with my wife Anne in the co-pilots seat. The Barn Owl failed to show up today so Monday’s sighting might have been a one off , maybe disturbed by the recent stormy weather. Instead we had a good view of our resident Tawny Owl. And that wasn’t the only bird of prey, with Red kite , Buzzard and Kestrel also making an appearance.

All the other usual suspect were on view in good numbers , including the Jay , Great spotted Woodpecker and a small flock of Goldfinches.
