A year of climate strikes

Today marks one year of the climate strikes in Oxford and me striking with them.
This time last year I got in to trouble for the first time for walking out of school to join my first ever youth strike for climate.
Each strike in Oxford has been different, with marches around the town, music, drumming and speeches from George Monbiot and Hugh Warwick as well as many young people taking the microphone. There has been direct action, a hint of civil disobedience and today, a very special moment when the adults held hands around the young people to show their support.
