Sick of snobby photo groups? Join a group that feels like home, not an ego festival.
You may have noticed a new logo on the side bar of the blog , the Humble Togs Club. Just another on line photography club i hear you say , well no actually far from it. I have been following the club for the past couple of months , interacting with the platform , founder Kurt Sneddon and the members of this rapidly growing community of photographers and honestly so far the experience has been amazing.

Humble Togs is a kind , ego free space for photographers , no gear snobbery or gatekeepers. The members are a supportive community offering feedback , passing on their own tips and hints and there is always someone willing to explain or help if you are struggling with any photographic issue. On the community board you can post questions , ask for help on any photographic topic or just post an image for honest kind feedback from people who genuinely want to see all the members succeed and progress.
“ Right away, I realized this community was different It’s private, supportive and full of photographers who genuinely wanna help each other. I’ve learned soooo much and I’ve discovered I have something to offer too !” – Jessa , Humble Togs member
There is a classroom section with short practical lesson’s that are actually useful and easy to understand. The platform is easy to use , the community is real , welcoming and full of people who what to learn and improve and help others at the same time. But don’t just take my word for it , here are a few quotes from real Humble Togs Club members,
“ Humble Togs has been amazing for me with community there I have learned a lot only in 3 days. My photos have already improved. I’ve been on Facebook groups for 4-5 months with no help or encouragement. Thank you Kurt for coming up with this and the videos explaining how to get even better on my photo post and asking how I got what I have and “is that my vision?” instead of the typical “that’s wrong” because it wouldn’t be the vision of someone else. I love that part of Humble Togs – no jerks and all help! “ Becca , Humble Togs member
“ In no other time since 2009 as a professional photographer have I seen a more successful group of non-mean photographers. I’ve seen groups that have lots of kind people but there’s always the entitled, snobby photogs and they are loud. That doesn’t exist here. It’s people who understand we all start somewhere and remember what it was like ourselves. It’s still small but growing regularly and consistently and I’m rooting for it! Best community I’ve been a part of so far. “ Kirk , Humble Togs memeber
“ I often reflect on how joining humble togs has been one of the best decisions of my artistic journey. As artists, we tend to be our own harshest critics, constantly assessing and questioning our work. Yet, when I finally share my creations, something magical occurs: a wave of wonderful individuals offers me sincere, uplifting feedback. This outpouring of positivity is truly transformative; it inspires confidence and fuels my passion. In those moments, I feel a deep conviction that I can become a truly great photographer. “ Sean , Humble Togs member
