The Hide , Wednesday 15th March 2023

Trees , I just love them . And today is a special one here at the Hide , ten lovely new trees have arrived , the latest instalment of our plan to create a mini woodland here at the meadow. They might only be 1.2m high at the moment but they still represent an investment in the hide and meadows future.

And the new trees have been inspected and approved by the usual gang , all here once again with the Robins particularly interested in the new arrivals, or it could be all the worms that were disturbed during the planting. One surprise visitor today was a solitary and rather elusive Coal tit who made several fleeting visits to the pool . Always nice to see , but it would have been even better if he stayed still long enough to have his picture taken ! Speaking of which , here’s a few more images from today……
