The hide , Wednesday 8th March 2023

You just know , as soon as you start talking about spring and approaching warmer weather it’s going to get cold again , really cold. But the bonus today was four inches of real white fluffy snow completely covering the entire meadow and hide. And as it happens today is my wildlife Wednesday. Now we’re not use to snow here in the south of England and it’s rare for snow to settle. Today’s definitely the first opportunity for me to watch and try to record wildlife in snowy conditions at the hide and it has proved to be a lot trickier than I had imagined. Mainly because it snowed quite heavily all day.

There was only a few short periods during the day when the snowfall eased off enough to actually take a few pictures. Here are a few more images…..
