For the past month I have been on a social media lockdown , on holiday ( vacation ) with my wife Anne , twenty eight days in the Canadian Rockies . Based in the town of Banff , we also had a couple of overnight road trips to Golden BC and Invermere also in BC. Banff truly is my spiritual home and we think we’re now approaching nearly a year’s worth of accumulated stay in the town.

No social media at all , in fact I didn’t take a phone or tablet with me and more surprisingly only a simple point and shoot camera ! The weather was absolutely perfect, warm with blue sky’s and only two days of rain. So the batteries are now fully charged (only a little bit of jet lag)

Banff has it all , stunning vista’s , wilderness , wildlife but most of all really friendly people. So a big thanks to all who made this our 21st trip to Banff so memorable.
