BLACKBIRD AT THE MEADOW

If you follow the blog you might know that the humble Blackbird is by far and away my favorite British bird. A common sight in many gardens , including my own garden this overlooked bird has a special place in my heart. It might be it’s cheeky look, or maybe the way it hops across the garden. in reality I don’t know why but I find them totally charming. Earlier this year during the first national lockdown here in the U.K it was Barry the blackbird who kept me company most days.

Our new hide is showing great promise with five different birds of prey spotted already , but it’s still my old friend the blackbird that grabs my attention. And lucky for me the meadow has a healthy population of Blackbirds.
