After all the construction of the new hide both in the workshop and on site at the wildflower meadow it’s fantastic to get back to actually taking a few pictures . And for the first time the venue for wildlife Wednesday is our new base , The Hide @ The Wildflower Meadow.

Back at the beginning of January we set up six bird feeders which have proven to be very popular from the beginning, indeed even during the noise of construction on site we still had a constant flow of hungry birds.

Today is just a quick session to make sure everything in the hide works. And so far it’s all good. We’re going to take a well earned break from work here at the meadow, well at least for a couple of weeks before we start on the landscaping and planting.

Keeping me company today , from a proper social distance of course are Robins , Great tits , Blue tits , Long tailed tits , Blackbirds, Goldfinch and a couple of Pigeons.
