Wildlife Wednesday

WWT Slimbridge Wednesday 14th October 2020

It’s Wednesday and today’s plan was a return trip to WWT Slimbridge . We decided to head straight to the kingfisher hide , and as it turns out , this was a good move . No kingfishers on duty today but we managed to watch a really good selection of woodland birds including blue tits , great tits , robins , chaffinch’s , bull finch and my day’s favourite a small wren. We also had a very brief view of a sparrow hawk, always a bonus !
