Back to the Wild

Back to the Wild

by Peter Hanscomb

Next Year , 2020 I will be concentrating on my not so big, Big Five.

Location wise , I have limited the scope to local habitats including my own garden , a local park and hopefully a disused local government building and car park.

909633AC-F848-48C8-AF7B-480BF38B21A5The building and grounds have not been used for around five years. Bordered on two sides by commercial units and on another by a major road it will be interesting to see how wild this complex has become in a relatively short amount of time and just what sort of wildlife the space now supports. From the outside it looks completely overgrown , maybe a bad choice of words used to describe the condition , instead how about it’s been reclaimed by Mother Nature. Anyway provided we get  permission to enter , it should provide an interesting comparison to the local park just up the road.
